Two ways to run Norbix

A subscription for a backend we operate. An annual licence for the deployment you operate.

Managed Service

Norbix runs the backend on AWS. You choose the project capacity.

Monthly or annual subscription

7-day trial · card required

  • Enable projects within your purchased cap
  • Trial converts to the selected paid plan unless cancelled
  • Connect your own MongoDB or add Norbix Flex
  • Provider usage is separate from project capacity
  • Assisted support included at rollout

Deployment licence

Run Norbix on your infrastructure with a Self-Hosted or Enterprise licence.

Annual licence only

30-day trial · no card required

  • Your servers, MongoDB and provider accounts
  • Buy an annual licence after the trial
  • Buy the next licence through your Managed Service account
  • Replace the deployment licence and restart Norbix
  • Assisted support at rollout; Enterprise commitments by agreement

Another year for your installation

A replacement licence needs to reach your running deployment.

  1. PurchaseBuy the next annual licence through your Managed Service account.
  2. ReplaceUpdate NORBIX_LICENSE in your deployment script or configuration.
  3. RestartRestart Norbix so it loads the new licence.

Flex is optional. Its usage is separate.

Connect your own MongoDB and pay your provider directly, or add Norbix-provisioned Flex to Managed Service. Flex usage is billed separately, including during the seven-day backend trial, and collected monthly through Stripe after the provider report, even when your backend subscription is annual. Logs stored in that database can increase usage. Your own files, email, SMS, push and payment providers stay in your accounts.

Trial does not become paid

Day 7: freeze. Day 9: deletion warning. Day 10: delete trial records. There is no trial archive or recovery after deletion, subject to required preservation holds.

Paid backend service stops

Service stops after the applicable payment grace, or at paid-period expiry after cancellation. Support handles the 30-day paid-data exit window and eligible export or recovery. Retained data is not free running Flex; deletion is final once the applicable deadline and holds end. Paying trial Flex usage alone does not qualify for this paid-backend archive route. Statutory withdrawal and required retrieval rights follow the Data Exit Policy.

Support is included

Approved support model and engineer-hour prices — rollout pending. Operational readiness, customer notice and an effective date are still required. The 17 October Support Policy remains in force until the transition takes effect.

Start with included AI assistance and automated diagnostics. The human cases listed below are included too. For tasks that need dedicated engineering work, you can choose a case budget and use engineer hours.

Assisted support

Included across paid plans, deployment licences and trials in the approved model. The Norbix AI assistant and diagnostics help you investigate issues; the protected cases below reach a human without buying hours. Ordinary trial help has no general human-response target.

Optional engineer time

Hands-on help in packs of 1, 5 or 10 hours, with no expiry, shared across your account's projects and installations. First human response: one business hour for S1, four for S2, and one business day for S3/S4. These are response targets, not repair deadlines. The same targets apply to every hour pack.

Approve the work budget

At rollout, approve the budget on the same engineer-request form: one hour by default, limited to your available balance. The account owner can approve it or delegate budget permission to a member. For urgent S1 or S2 cases, explicitly authorise a higher maximum if you want one.

Actual engineer work is rounded up once per case to the next 15 minutes, with no 30-minute minimum. A balance or silence never approves more spending: no automatic purchases and no negative balance. When the approved budget runs out, paid work pauses unless you extend it; Assisted handling and free human duties continue. Scheduled status and budget updates are free.

Optional engineer-hour prices
One-time EUR base prices before applicable VAT or other tax. The final tax-inclusive total is shown before purchase.
Pack Price Per hour
1 hour€120€120
5 hours€550€110
10 hours€1,000€100

No expiry. Every pack uses the same response targets and budget safeguards. Engineer-hour purchases are pending rollout. Buying hours does not extend a trial or its data deadlines.

Always human, no engineer hours: billing errors, refunds and cancellation problems; licence purchase, activation and validation; data export, restoration and exit; security incidents; paid Managed Service production outages; consumer withdrawal and disputes; and issues caused by Norbix defects or Norbix-operated outages. Hours charged for a Norbix-caused problem are returned; you can request a free billing review of that decision.

Trial customers can buy engineer hours with the same Engineer targets and use these free human routes. Buying support does not extend a trial, postpone data deletion or create recovery rights.

Contact support@norbix.ai for billing, licensing or retained-data problems. Coverage is Monday–Friday, 09:00–17:00 Europe/Vilnius, excluding Lithuanian public holidays. The approved Assisted and Engineer support layers apply across deployment types; Enterprise differences follow your agreement. A response target is not a fixed repair or restoration deadline.

Questions about plans

Do I need a hosted project subscription to buy a deployment licence?

Your account manages both subscriptions and licences. A deployment licence is a separate purchase for your own installation; you do not need to buy hosted project capacity just to obtain the licence.

How do I renew an installation for another year?

Open Account → Licensing in your Managed Service Cloud account and purchase the next annual licence, or follow your Enterprise order. Replace NORBIX_LICENSE in your deployment script or configuration, then restart Norbix. Purchasing alone does not update the running installation. Contact support if you need help with an existing domain.

What happens when I choose a lower project cap?

Choose which projects to keep enabled before the lower cap takes effect. More disabled project records can remain in the account, but that is not a promise to retain their database data indefinitely. Contact support if you need help coordinating the change.

Can I cancel or request a refund?

For Managed Service, stop the next subscription renewal and keep access through the paid period. Deployment licences last for their issued term; buying another year and installing the new key require customer action. Ordinary cancellation does not automatically refund unused time. Consumer cancellation rights, service remedies and billing-error corrections remain protected; see the Terms of Service.

What does Enterprise change?

Enterprise is an annual deployment licence with the infrastructure, support and other commitments stated in its agreement. Enterprise engineer-hour allocations and custom commitments follow the contract. Engineer hours can also be purchased for any deployment type when the model launches.

How will engineer hours be charged?

Buy 1, 5 or 10 hours with no expiry, shared across your account's projects and licensed installations. Actual engineer work is rounded up once per case to the next 15 minutes, with no 30-minute minimum. Waiting, assistant replies, scheduled status updates and administration use no hours. Launch pack prices are €120 for 1 hour, €550 for 5 hours and €1,000 for 10 hours, before applicable VAT/tax. Purchase and budget controls are pending rollout.

Can a trial customer use engineer support?

At rollout, trial customers can buy engineer hours with the same Engineer response targets and use the free human routes without buying hours. Ordinary trial help remains Assisted, without a general human-response target. Buying support does not extend a trial, its data-retention deadline or recovery rights.
